ForgeWorks Sourcing privacy policy

This policy describes how ForgeWorks Sourcing handles information you place in a building procurement brief. The desk uses that information to understand the requirement and, when the brief is clear enough, to ask factories for quotations. It does not claim authorized dealer status for any brand you mention.

Information you submit

The form asks for name, work email, company, an optional phone number, and the procurement requirement. If JavaScript is available, optional fields can capture a product name, a target budget, a currency, a per-unit or whole-order basis, and a supplier preference. Those optional values are added to the requirement text at submission. They are not stored as a separate public profile.

Why it is used

The desk uses the brief to check specification, quantity, destination, and scope, and to contact you if a line is missing. Factory recipients receive the project facts needed to quote. They should not receive anything you did not need to include. Please omit government identifiers and payment data.

How long it is kept

Briefs are kept while the inquiry is open and for a limited coordination record after the last reply, unless you ask for deletion sooner and the law allows that deletion. A request that is still with a factory may remain in that factory’s mailbox under the factory’s own policy.

Sharing

The desk shares the project description with factories asked to quote and with service providers who host the form. It does not sell the brief as a marketing list. A brand name inside your text is a reference you supplied. Sharing that reference is not an endorsement and not a notice to that brand unless you asked for one.

Access

You may ask what brief text is still on file by writing through the contact form from the same work email. The desk may need to confirm that the address matches the original submission before it changes or deletes the record.

Site operation

The benefit notice uses local storage for the first time it was shown and session storage if you close the bar. Those keys are not the procurement brief. Closing the bar does not submit or delete a form.
